This Peppermint Bark is absolutely great for a gift to satisfy their sweet tooth this holiday season!
- 2 Equal Exchange Chocolate Bars
- 2-4 Drops of Organic Peppermint Extract
- 4 Crushed Organic Candy Canes
- In a double boiler melt chocolate over low heat. (Can also use a stainless steel pan but be sure to keep a close on it so it does not burn.)
- Lay wax paper on a 9x13 baking sheet and pour melted dark chocolate on it.
- Unwrap candy canes and chop in a food processor. Or get a hammer!
- Sprinkle candy canes over dark chocolate. Place in refrigerator for at least 12 hours.
- Remove and break into pieces (“bark”).
- Package in small bags and tie with ribbon and a custom label.
