Unless you've been under a rock, you know that 25 Days of Cheer (#ProjectCheer) is debuting tomorrow. Are you excited? I hope so! But its not just words that will spread cheer, its our actions.

So, without further ado, please welcome Trim A Tree Fun Run to #ProjectCheer!

Where: DC Central Kitchen 425 2nd Street AND virtually (details below)

When: Saturday, December 11, 2010, 9am

Entry Fee: FREE (kind of). Travel size shampoo/conditioner (think hotel), or commercially packaged kids snacks for their Healthy Returns program for kids (granola bars, fruits & nuts) or a used pair of running shoes. Or they are always thankful for donations.

Other: If you are taking part in the DC fun run, DC Central Kitchen will be giving us a tour, so don't miss that! Also, please take metro (Judiciary Square) as parking is very limited. Don't want to run? No problem! You can walk or help out at the kitchen.

Virtually: The mission of #ProjectCheer is to do one simple thing each day for someone, live a healthier life and spread cheer. Trim A Tree Fun Run puts this into action. So if you can't be in DC, please pledge to go for a run or a walk and stop by your local shelter or food bank and spread cheer to those that need it. UPDATE: Chicago is hosting one and Orange County is in the works!!!
