Today I **only** had to run 5 miles. Sweet, right? Well, not really. For some reason, the short mile workouts kill me. And I do mean kill me. I don't get warmed up till at least mile 6, so you can imagine that 5 miles.... Well, let's just say that they were not fun. Not fast. Not sweet. They were 5 painful miles. Finished in 50 minutes. Should have taken me 43 or so. Yikes.
Did an hour of weights. Love to lift.
Also rode 32 miles. Feels good to cycle. Did a few hill repeats. Rode during afternoon/evening traffic. Always a treat.
Thinking I should stick a triathlon in my race schedule. Thinking...
